WELCOME AIDEN DOUGLAS BOWES!!!
After an unexpected burst bag of waters, an ambulance ride from Pitt Meadows to Royal Columbian, and 15 hours of labor, Dilys Hunter-Bowes and husband David Bowes welcomed their first baby into this crazy world on July 3, 2006, at 2:10 p.m.
Arriving 5 weeks early, Aiden Douglas Bowes weighs in at a respectable 5 lbs. 2 oz. I had the honor of meeting him today, and he is absolutely, positively gorgeous.
I'm an AUNTIE! (At least the closest thing I will be to becoming an auntie for a LONG, LONG time...right, Ash???)
Anyway, our wonderful friends have this amazing new life with Sir Aiden. Think happy thoughts for them as they adjust to being a threesome.

He IS a beauty. I can just imagine that sweet, new-baby smell. mmmmm. I just wanns hug him, and kiss him, and snuggle him, and love him. Oh yeah, congrats to the new mom and dad and all associated aunties.
Personal note. I can't find your email addresses here at home. I just left this on Andrea's and Jane's blog. Finally heard from the editor, and due to technial difficulties this summer, she's finally getting to my manuscript. I'm excited and relieved at the same time. A lot hinges on her critiqe and I'll be basing future writing decisions on what she says. Excited and relieved a the same time :)
